This unit specialized in the assessment of projects, constructions and infrastructure projects (Buildings- roads - bridges - water projects and sanitation) and finding solutions to problems in periods during construction or old one due to any causes such as foundations settlements, landslide, fires, wars or natural disasters such as floods and earthquake or any other reasons.
Among the works the unit doing are the following:
- The preparation of studies to evaluate the infrastructure projects as a result of wars, natural disasters and develop solutions to various renovations.
- Preparation of studies to evaluate road projects and develop solutions for various renovations.
- Preparation of studies to evaluate the bridge and tunnel projects and develop solutions for various renovations.
- The preparation of studies to evaluate the residential and commercial building projects and develop solutions for various renovations.
- Conduct a study to assess the environmental impact EIA for projects such as the petrochemical factories, waste water treatment plants and other related projects.
- Conduct many of the on-site tests to assess the structural parts (Schmidt Hammer test - Ultrasonic test- Crack Width Ruler - Winston pistol - test core- loading test - chemical tests of the concrete affected by Fire).
And many more of the studies and designs for various projects in this areas.
