This unit is responsible for all the areas of water, environment and agriculture. It’s responsible for the engineering studies, designs, supervision, receipt, review and assessment for projects related to this specialty. In addition it’s doing the laboratory tests.
Among the works the unit doing are the following:
- Conducting pumping test
- Studies, designs & implementation of water supply systems (project or small local distribution points)
- Studies, designs & implementation of irrigation water system
- Studies, designs & implementation of sanitation projects (WWTP)
- Conducting environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies for the related projects
- Studies, designs and supervision of hydraulic structure projects (dams-barriers-tanks-channels)
- Studies, design & implementation of the greenhouses
- Studies, design & implementation of the modern gardening, seed production and fertilization
- Conducting numerous laboratory tests (water supply- waste water - soil - fertilizer)
